Hike on battlefield isonzo front
We invite you to join us on a march to commemorate the victims of the Isonzo front.
The march was organized in late October and is expected to take place via two pathways. The shorter the journey takes 3 hours and the extent of rise over Sv. Catherine to Škabrijel on which stands a monument to the fallen soldiers. Back after the former trenches.
The longer route takes us at the caverns in the holy mountain. Scheduled for 4 to 5 hours.
End of march is the pizzeria and spaghetteria Žogica at Soča in Solkan.
For all participants is mandatory suitable footwear. Hikers who take part way through the cavern to bring with them again flashlight!
DURATION OF EXPEDITION:
Shorter route: 3 hours
Solkan - Sv. Katarina - Škabrijel - Prevalo - Žogica
Longer way: 4 to 5 hours
Solkan - Sv. Katarina - Škabrijel - Prevalo - Sveta Gora - Žogica
